Hi everyone,
 I'm new here and new to old rv's but not old Dodges. In January I purchased a 1977 Jamboree. It's a 20' on a dodge f-40 chassis. It has 75,000 original miles and is in good shape now that I've replaced almost every piece of hose and every gasket in the engine and transmission. The drivetrain consists of a 440engine, 727trans and a gear vendors overdrive.

My question is, does anyone know the towing capacity of this rig? I have a 77 Ramcharger I would like to tow 4-down. It weighs just under 5,000 lbs. It has basically the same engine and trans. which might help in a breakdown situation(spare parts).

Any help is appreciated.

have you tried here?

they wander quiet a bit from just rv's but there is usually someone there that can answer/guess the questions.
