Wow  I'm buying a 1979 Winne Brave and Whoopie  !   It has a Propane Powered sticker on the right rear panel. it seems that I'm going to be running down the road with a GREEN classic !!

It was a FACTROY OPTION  and ALL the factory has given me is a 9 page print out to go with it.

ANy and all information that YOU or YOU may have to help would help.   SO far I have found out that it is a flip of a switch to change it over to running on propane from gas...

I'm excited to say the least . going on an all winter 'Tour de Nowhere Particular"    to escape the cold of Maine. and lots of arthritic pain.

I need this kind of adventure hope to meet up with some new friends and have a good trip

Be sure it is still connected and that the propane throttle body is still intact. If you don't know about this stuff, then go to a good mechanic. It delivers liquid propane to the throttle body and uses some solenoids to switch between gasoline and propane. If working properly, it can be switched on the fly. Easier starting with the propane also, as it doesn't have to prime a pump or carb. Good luck with it.
