It would have been nice of me to unlock this topic ;)

It's unlocked now, so it'll be a little easier to post suggestions.

Steve, we have no way to tell when someone posts something new unless we scroll through the whole forum. Any way to solve that?

Good idea.  I've create a section under Airstreams for now (we can break it into it's own forum as it grows).  You can see it here

    Cooperhawk,
Actually there are a couple of really cool features on this forum which will give you views of recent activity and unanswered posts.

When you are looking at the forum's main page, click on the "Active Posts". This will show you all new posts within a specific time period. You can adjust the time period using the drop down list on the top right of the forum. Posts that you have not read before are in bold.

Also, you can click on the "Not Read" link to see all of the posts you haven't read yet...and....

You can click on "Unanswered" to see all topics with zero replies.

I'l plan to post a step by step walkthrough on using the forum soon.

He is referring to the protal on the ASF list. Frankly I am of two minds on this.  On the ASF it is where all the spite and supposed hatred is presented, but I also think that these sites are too complicated for the  not so computer literate users to navigate.  I have noticed the new members level off on this site, and wonder if that is the reason.

Not yet. We've been trying to stay somewhat passive about this. If people are interested in find it then great. But we have not been "fishing" for members over there.

I'm still not sure I know what "blue list" means.

hi The blue list I am talking about Is If you are broke down on the road (thenewkid64) onthe forums. has a list of people that can come out and try to help get you going. for example if balgrn is broked down in Orlando Fl and I live in Inverness Fl He calls me and asks for a helping hand. I ask him what tools he thinks he needs. I then put my generator And air tools in my truck and help him out . ALL THAT WOld be asked would be a donation for gas. this is what was ment by blue list
    thanks

Well Steve, actually I have been fishing.  I got so disgusted with some of that hatred on the ASF that I have sent e-mails and pm's to quite a few people inviting them over.  Several have responded thanking me.  I also invited Chaplain Kent a few days ago.  It's really getting nasty towards motorhomers over there.

    Really childish and stupid.

Now I understand the blue list. Great idea. Let me see if there is a way to work out who is on the list and who isn't.

Wow...more interest in getting people over here than I thought. That's great! Then invite away! It would be great to increase the ranks for people who want to focus on motorhomes.

    Blue List...good idea.
NSRA, has 'Fellow Pages' for street rodders in need of help.
Is reprinted each year, and all are new requested listings, no carry overs.

    'Classic Club'
    'Mo Ho Friends'
    'Motor Homies'
    'Tool Timers'

And the rea I came to this page...
    Open the 'for sell' section.
I have a few things to sell, and some tools to share.
Finishing up my PEX plumbing soon, and can offer the crimpers for use.
