We get Thundersnow pretty often here in Minnesooooota.  Usually occurs when a fast moving "Alberta Clipper" over runs warm air.  Yep, we do get our weather from Canada.  I think they get it from the Artic Circle.

Been there too. Lived in Yukon where the camping is the best. Lots of places to see and very few people. Great place to become a hermit. That is when it is not -40 and even the monkeys hide.

We seem to be getting alot of snow from our friend in the south, I can't remember this many storm coming up out of Texas...

Started to RAIN again here around Noon. Had a great morning tho!
