Less than 2 weeks! We are heading North to do a weekend of Winter camping. I took the Peanut last yeat and had a blast. It was the hit of the place. Someone actually heard we were taking the 20' and drove down to see it. He knocked on the door, we thought he was one of the members that we had not met, come to find out he just wanted to see the Peanut. Too funny! When sonm of the other members showed up they said, so who's your friend? |

It is about 110 miles from where we live, it is in Central NH, just below the White Mountains. Freedom NH has a campground that is open all winter, Danforth Bay |

Interesting. We used to stop at a Winter campground in Springfield, Illinois on our way to Florida. I guess I'm too old for that cold stuff anymore.
Course, I just rebuild my Snowmobile carburator and am hoping for just a little more snow so I can go check out our lake. |

That sound like fun. Most of the CGs close around here when it gets too cold. Maybe I can convince the family to find a place nearby. I'm sure we would have the place to ourselves. |

One week to camping! Taking the Peanut home this Sunday. Putting in the new Futon Mattress. I may have a blown fuse, was playing with the toggle switches, no clue what they are for, then my panel light went out. Called the Campground the other day, they have plenty of camping sites, go figure eh? I think 18 people will be there. should be a hoot! Campfire is already planned. Too funny |

Where all you going thru? Florida via Southwest?
Were escorting some first time campers this weekend to Mt Cheaha Alabama. They just bought their first TT, and want us along to help figure things out. This is only their 2nd camping trip. 1st was last summer with us, and we set up a tent for them and their two kids. Kids had so much fun, they had to get out of motel rooms. |

Man 2 hours 25 minutes
to get there, a record for us! Fastest flight was 2:50
Had a blast, Disney was cool, as always. Hope to stay away for a while though.
Getting kinda pricey. But, if you don't buy the trinkets it is still a good
deal. The folks we met there, seemed to be disappointed in their Campground, hassle
for one with a Disney mix up in reservations, lot rent was over $100 with tax
and all... We paid $129 for a room...
Not deterred we had a great time together!
No pics, this is a first for me, We did not take a camera, I felt NAKED!

camping, more like cabining in a campground. Grueling drive up in the snow. I
like driving in the snow, it's just all those other nuts out there that forget
from storm to storm that you can not slam on the brake.... Oh well, 3 hours to
go 75 miles is not that bad to get away! One foot of snow on the ground and
still snowing. I would not have wanted to take the Argosy out in that. I don't
believe the windshield wipers would have kept up with the ice...

Well, I've got snow shoes and use them when I have to. Can't say
I enjoy it though. I don't mind ripping along at sixty miles an
hour on my snow mobile though.
