I have some new features along with a new look coming out soon for the site. The biggest addition will be that our members will be able to create their own "groups" within the site. Groups will include photo galleries, forums, a "wall" (sort of like Facebook), links, calendar, RSS feeds, etc. Groups can be public, private or invite only. Other members can join these groups if then want - or your could invite people you know to join.

So for example, I could create a group called "Classic Airstream Motorhomes" and invide Coop and Balrgn. They can then invite other people they know who own classic Airstream motorhomes. Pretty soon we have a nice little group going and it's all about our motorhomes.

In fact, my homepage will change to show my just the latest activity within that group. But, I may also want to join another group called "Kentucky Campers" to stay in touch with people around the state, etc. Now I belong to two groups and my homepage reflects what's going on in my groups.

...and so on....

We'll also have an expanded profile with some of the same features but more on that later.

I'm also working on a new look for the site to help organize it better and to improve the load time of the pages.

Lately, I'm toying with the idea of renaming the site to better reflect that it's not all about Old RVs around here sometimes. We have a lot of newer model owners of motor homes and trailers contact us about joining but think it's all about vintage RVs only. So perhaps a more inclusive name might help. We'll see.

All good ideas Steve. I still am having load time problems and anything you can do to speed that process up will help.

Coop - I do think the page loads will improve for you with the new design...it's very minimalistic.

Well, if you haven't noticed, I did not get to apply the new look this weekend. I've been working on this for a week or so and still have some work to do. I'll be posting some more screenshots soon, but here is a sneak peek.

Still working on this everyone. Trying to finish up some new features and do everything all at once.
